  • Taste of HIMSS – A Wednesday afternoon event held in conjunction with the exhibit hours.
  • Trolley – The HIMSS trolley is available to all individuals in the exhibit hall. The trolley moves attendee traffic throughout the exhibit hall and encourages people to visit the entire exhibit hall.
  • Dedicated Exhibit Hall Hours – This is your time to have the attendees’ undivided attention. Once sessions have concluded attendees flock to the exhibit hall.
  • Anchor exhibitors – HIMSS has placed the largest exhibitors in strategic positions around the floor to create an even traffic flow in every area.
  • Product Pavilions – HIMSS identifies the hottest topics in the industry and brings together learning and exhibits in Product Pavilions placed throughout the exhibit floor.

Conference Promotion to Members & the Industry

HIMSS provides extensive promotion to members through:

  • Direct mail – Promotional material sent to HIMSS members and potential conference attendees.
  • HIMSS Insider – A monthly newsletter distributed to HIMSS members and the general industry begins promoting the Annual Conference & Exhibition six months prior to the event.
  • Conference Web site – HIMSS creates and promotes a Web site dedicated to the Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition. The Web Site contains complete information about the conference, including promoting the exhibitors.
  • E-mail – In the months prior the conference, HIMSS sends a series of electronic marketing messages to targeted audiences as well as the entire HIMSS membership to promote the conference.
