Scholarships
HIMSS develops leaders. Student members of HIMSS can apply for one of five scholarships awarded by the HIMSS Foundation Scholarship Program. One undergraduate, one master’s-level and one doctoral candidate in the healthcare information or management systems field are awarded a scholarship each year. The Richard P. Covert, Ph.D, FHIMSS, Scholarship is awarded to a student member studying management engineering. This year, the HIMSS Foundation announces a new needs-based scholarship, sponsored by Healthlink.
